Day Dreams

This necklace is part of a new series, Sticks and Stones. I've been experimenting with PMC (precious metal clay) by creating rustic organic pebbles/rocks/relics with the metal clay and incorporating fine silver bead cores. Day Dreams is handcrafted by me using fine silver a sterling silver skeleton key and gemstones. The lightly oxidized sterling silver chain is about 18" and the clasp is also hand forged by me using 16g twisted sterling silver wire. The fine silver stone has an oxidized/satin finish. Fluorite is said to absorb and neutralize negative vibrations. It is known as the "Genius Stone". It also increases concentration and helps in decision-making. Iolite is an excellent stone for shamanic journeying or to assist in recovering info from past lives. It helps to clear the third eye chakra and is a stone of vision and creative expression. Iolite promotes healing of the eyes, stimulates memory and helps with sleep imbalances hence the name Day Dreams.
