Tranquility Necklace

This necklace is part of a new series. I've been experimenting with PMC (precious metal clay) by creating rustic organic pebbles/rocks with the metal clay and incorporating fine silver bead cores (rivets). Tranquility necklace has a fine silver fossil like pebble with a handmade 16g sterling silver twisted jump ring. It is paired with a stick like Kyanite gemstone which is wire wrapped onto a small sterling silver twisted jump ring. The chain is lightly oxidized and is finished with a handmade 16g sterling silver twisted wire clasp. Chain= about 18 1/2" *Reason why this necklace is named Tranquility: Kyanite is a gemstone that does not accumulate negative energies, and it therefore never needs to be cleansed or cleared. As the energy of kyanite is all but unlimited, it is said to be one of the best gemstones for use as an attunement stone. Kyanite is known to induce tranquility and calm, as well as enhancing communication and psychic awareness, as well it eases, enhances and supports mediation efforts. It is an ideal stone for wearing around the neck , as it has beneficial effects on the throat. It will promote the ability to speak more easily and express oneself more clearly, and will even assist in learning a new language.
